MEET DEVIN.
Devin is a Gordon Parks Fellow and a Leica ambassador. Devin is a photographer and activist based in Baltimore, Maryland with 156K verified Instagram followers. His main focus is photojournalism and portrait photography.
He gained national attention after his documentary photograph "Baltimore Uprising" was published as Time Magazine's cover photo in May 2015. The image was taken during the Freddie Gray protests.
He is currently featured in the 2021 HBO documentary, “ A Choice of Weapons”, inspired by Gordon Parks.
Devin is also featured in a Netflix produced 6-part digital series, Strong Black Lens, focusing on the importance of telling stories and shaping narratives with still imagery.
He is a staff photographer of Under Armour. In collaboration with Under Armour he has created multiple photoshoots with NBA superstar Steph Curry.
He has used his resources to donate more than 400 cameras to young people in Baltimore, New York and Oakland all while conducting free workshops to teach them how to use the equipment.
He published his first photography book A Beautiful Ghetto in 2017.
